What is good health?

Health is wealth does not only mean that one is free from every kind of illness. It means that a person has good health. Good health, however, refers to both the physical and mental health of a person and that one does not even possess any bad quality that might later lead to bad health or cause any kind of disease or problem for a person. A person consuming unhealthy food is not leading a healthy life but is rather making bad choices which could lead to a bad health situation eventually. To lead a healthy life, it is vital to make decisions that are healthy and help follow a good lifestyle. Maintaining good health and a great lifestyle requires good and sensible decisions and consistent habits. These habits also include exercising which eventually contributes to good mental and physical health. 

Benefits of Good Health

Following a good lifestyle which includes good eating habits, as well as exercise, can turn out to have amazing benefits on a person. Having good health is a luxury that everyone cannot afford, therefore those who can afford it should avail the opportunity and keep themselves smart. 

Leading a healthy lifestyle can keep one free from the tension of getting medical attention all the time. An unhealthy person pays continuous visits to the hospital and ultimately suffers from mental issues affecting mental health as well since the individual is concerned about his health all the time. On the contrary, a relaxed mind helps one to stay happy and free from all kinds of tensions. 

Health is wealth as individuals who have good health are more focused on their goals and can achieve their targets timely. They are motivated while the ones with bad health are more procrastinators and not able to maintain their focus on any specific goal and lack the energy to do anything. 

Conclusively, good health is a great blessing that should not be taken for granted and be taken care of. Good health is the source of happiness and success in life and can help in going a long way. Every individual is responsible for their health therefore the best decisions should be made to achieve the best in life. As said by Mahatma Gandhi 

“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of silver and gold.”
